Vicanie’s operates 3 locations in southern Ontario. They specialize in bra fitting and pride themselves on making sure customers get garments that feel good and look good. Each store offers personalized fittings in a welcoming, comfortable, and discreet environment, allowing their customers to be comfortable and look your best.
Operating since 2004, the client had been focused mainly on serving customers who walked into one of their locations, depending on word of mouth and repeat business. Recently, they had found that similar modeled stores in the GTA had made the transition to ecommerce and they wanted to keep up with the new competitive landscape.
MoonSoar Services was brought on to consult, design and develop a website on the Shopify platform that communicated with their existing POS system. We began the process with a discovery stage to evaluate existing content and imagery, and develop a plan with the Vicanie’s team to create additional supportive materials required for the website. From there, we created some style tiles based on their current brand that would compete within the ecommerce environment.
Once the client was happy with the feel of the site, we moved on to the design phase, creating a website design that was easy to navigate, while looking both timeless and sexy, supporting the brand that had already been created.
From the design stage, we moved to development of the website, creating the website on the Shopify platform. Working specifically with the Shopify platform allowed the client to continue using their current in-store inventory management which they already had familiarity with, tie in inventory to their online store and all three physical locations, and allowed them the ability to easily update and manage their website after going live.
