Google Analytics 4

What does this mean for me? 

If you have Google Universal Analytics (UA) you will need to insert Google’s new tracking code to your website if you have not done so already.  This is a straight-forward change involving adding several lines of code and setting up a new “view” in your analytics.google.com account.

I don’t use Google Analytics.

If you do not use or want to use website analytics no action is required. Your website will continue to function normally.  Information on your website usage will no longer be gathered after July 1^st 2023, and the information contained in your old analytics account will be deleted 6 months from that date.

I would like to continue to use or start using website analytics.

If you would like to use or continue to use Google Analytics we can install the new code on your website and set up a new Google Analytics 4 view in your existing analytics account.

We will require your login information for analytics.google.com and the login information for your website.  Although we may have your login information from when we originally set up your analytics account and website, we do not save this information to ensure the security of your website and account, and to ensure your privacy.

What is the cost associated with this change?

Running Google analytics is free.  Setup and configuration of Google Analytics 4 requires custom code and account setup.  If you would like us to install Google Analytics 4 on your website, the cost will be $100.  You can submit your login information securely in the form below and we will have the changes completed within 3-5 business days.  If you would like to book a working session to recover your analytics password or set up a new account, and have us walk you through your analytics account, we can schedule a 1 hour working session via zoom or phone to perform the installation and answer any questions about analytics and how they can be used to gain a deeper understanding of how visitors use and interact with your website.  As we are quickly approaching the shutdown date, we are happy to offer this for $150.
