The client is a distributor of pond, garden and green living products throughout North America.
The client was looking for a website that would solve two problems – first, to be used as a product catalogue that potential brick-and-mortar and online stores could view products to determine what they wanted to order. Second, this website was to be used as a way to communicate with end users about product instructions, warranty details, and locations where their products could be purchased. It also serves as a complete source of information on creating and maintaining a water garden / pond system, and guide to green living.
This client requested the ability to have more control over the back-end of the system, with customized database driven needs. The biggest motivator was to make the website as user friendly as possible, which dictated an in-depth categorization process for all content, as well as a clean and modern appearance.
